Meet the newest four little fairies to fly off Kim Sponaugle’s drawing board and into the wonderful realm of all things crafty! The ice skating Winter Fairy, delicate Spring Fairy amongst the Lily of the Valley, sweet little Summer Fairy whispering to a birdie and the mischievious Autumn Fairy riding a sycamore leaf will help you to keep creating all through the year and are ideal for card making, calendar and altered art projects. All four seasonal fairies are available as unmounted rubber stamps and 3D Decoupage greeting card downloads. Keep an eye out for Sonia’s beautiful handcrafted cards using these fairy stamps when browsing through the stamps in the shop or Gallery 1.

Also new in the shop this week are four more adorable Erica Pels acrylic stamp sets - Autumn 1 & 2, Winter Skates and Near the Christmas Tree. This brings the total of Erica Pels stamp sets to twelve now and offers us a wonderful collection of stamps for year round projects.
Other new arrivals this week are new colours in Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks and Adirondack Pigment Inkpads. New Martha Stewart Border punches - just two designs have arrived at the moment but lots more are on the way and expected to be with us real soon. We’ve also added more Peel Offs in various texts and borders and three packs of little tassels in assorted colours.

And finally for now … and, as ever, certainly not least … we’ve added some new cards to Gallery 1 by the wonderfully talented Alison. Just look at the clever application of Perfect Pearls on the Book Fairy card below - skoosh and drag!

Keep Creating!

Hi Everyone,
Oh Wow, seems there’s been a touch of magic at work around here lately! I’ve teamed up with the amazingly talented children’s book illustrator Kim Sponaugle (yes, that’s two Kims now) and we’re delighted that the first members of our cuter than cute Fairy Fun Family are now ready to say ‘hello’ to you. We’ve got … Baby Fairy, Book and Cake Fairy, Grandma Fairy, Shoe Fairy and the sporty Tennis Fairy. Each fairy is available as a rubber stamp, a 3D Decoupage Card download and we’ve added eight sets of downloadable papers too. But this is just the start! More Fairy Fun Family members and other charming characters are managing to escape from Kim’s sketchbooks so keep an eye out for them too over the coming weeks and months!

Following the huge popularity of Susi’s super easy Alphabooks and Numbercards Printables and Cuttables, the printables range has been extended and a new rich ’Berries’ colour has been added. These sets are ideal for masculine cards toning in beautifully with the Country Gents and Local Lads downloads and are equally suitable for ladies cards too.

New in the shop are this month’s Creative Cardmaking and Making Cards magazines. These monthly magazines are each packed with ideas and inspiration for your cardmaking … and there’s some nifty free papers included too!

New too are the Mulberry Paper flowers by Petaloo - we’ve got lots of packs in a rainbow of tempting colours and styles that we think you might quite like too!

Also new in are the new Tim Holtz metal adornments - book corners, leaves, tiny attacher (a poshe name for a mini, mini, stapler), safety pins, etc.
All in all, lots of new goodies and lots more to watch out for. Have a great day, keep well, and …
Keep Creating!

Also new in and brand new to the scene is the Creative Cardmaking magazine published by Practical Publishing. With a cover price of only £3.99 for 84 pages and 16 additional pull out printed papers and die cuts this inspiring new magazine is already proving to be an popular choice with cardmakers.
Talking of inspiration, our Fabulously Crafty Friends, Alison, Edna, Gail and Sonia have come up trumps again and we’re so very, very pleased to be adding more wonderful card ideas by them into our Gallery #1. Do please check out their cards, these ladies really do create little works of heart.

Susi’s been keeping busy with her highly popular Alphabooks and Numbercards and has now completed the two sets in SVG file format for Cricut® cutting machines that also use the ‘Sure Cuts A Lot’ independent software from Craft Edge. She’s currently working on the first of the Printables versions so that those of us who don’t have digital cutters can also join in the card-book fun real soon.
Four more brand new adorable clear stamp sets by Erica Pels are now available - On the Farm 2, In the Garden, In the Bath and Picnic. This brings the total stamp sets to eight with a further four due to be released in a few months time.
We’ve been popping lots of goodies onto our virtual shelves over the past few days and are pleased to now be stocking three new Prima Flowers ranges, Beatrix Potter, Flower Fairies & Winnie the Pooh stamps, Marvy Marker pens, an assortment of QuicKutz dies, some superb little 6×6″ K and Company paper pads at a great value for money price and we’ve even added some wooden nesting eggs for you to decorate! I think that’s the lot for now but do keep popping back in as we’ll be adding other new bits to extend our current ranges regularly over the coming days.
Keep Creating,
Hugs n Smiles,
Kim

Numbercards is the companion set to the Alphabook Cuttable and contains everything you need to make unique birthday number cards for any age; numbers from 0-9 plus ‘nd’, ‘rd’,’st’, ‘th’, ‘happy’, ‘today’. Each number or word has a base card and mat. Also included are the words ‘birthday’ and ‘wishes’ each with its own mat.
As in the Alphabooks set the standard size of a page is 252 x 145mm so they will work well together without needing to resize. Included in the set is a pdf file with illustrated instructions on how the ‘6 today ‘ product shot card was made - I have also included the original gsd design file which shows how the numbers and layers are lined up.
To make the ‘6 today’ card I used papers and elements from the Rainy Day Bears, Sunny Day Bears and Preppy Papers Designables. The centre of the number 6 is backed with acetate to form a window with microbead ‘waves’ and a cheeky Ted from the Sunny Days set is peeping out from behind the number.
Tip: To neaten the back of the base card, flip the matting layer and cut in printed paper!

So no challenge is too great - from a 007 card for your Mr. Bond to great grandma’s 100th you can do it all!!!
Have fun creating!
Susi

Gail’s ATC Challenge on the forum.
I thought it would be a nice idea for the previous challenge winner to pick this month’s theme, so without further ado, here is what Alison has chosen;
February theme is to be Animals.
So the main image is to be a Cuddly Buddly animal stamp or downloadable image. Alison would also like a touch of glitter please, remember, you don’t have to swap your atc’s to enter the challenge … but it would be nice.
The Prize - Two Cuddly Buddly Stamps and a 6×6 patterned paper pad are up for grabs for a randomly selected winner.
Good Luck!
Gail

Susi’s been busy this week and we’re proud to present her latest and most versatile Cuttable for Craft Robo and Wishblade owners : the Alphabook Cuttable. With this set you will be able to make fantastic alphacards, albums, tags, etc. As with all gsd files these are resizeable so you can shrink them from their standard 252 x 145 mm to make mini albums; the instructions included will tell you how.
All 26 letters of the alphabet are present in uppercase in this bumper Cuttable and each letter has a mat and base card.
Included in the set are illustrated instructions on how the Baby book was cut. I used Kim’s Patchwork of papers and plain white card for the base but the sky’s the limit - let your imagination run wild : stamp, emboss, embellish, add journaling and photos and make a truly special ‘one of a kind’ card.

Thank You to everyone who entered Gail’s January ATC Challenge on the forum. After counting the entries, creating a winning number in a random generator and using that to count backwards from the last entry … the winner is … Alison. Well done Alison - I’ll sort a little something out for your prize, I’m waiting on a delivery of something pretty and useful, so bear with me please while I wait for this to arrive and then pop it together with a stamp.

To finish up for now, I really must point you to Edna’s fantastic cards, door hanger and chocolate truffle boxes that she’s created using some of the Puppy Dog and the Teddy with Rose stamps. Pop over to our Gallery 1 for some superb inspiration from a truly creative and most kindly lady.
Keep Creating!
