NEW Christmas Stamps, Download Papers, Spellbinders, Creative Cardmaking Magazine & more!

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Hi There,

With new deliveries arriving daily plus our own new lines, I thought I’d better stop for a natter and let you know What’s New at Cuddly Buddly Crafts!

First up are my new stamps. I’ve created a mixture of Christmas stamps with Caroling Teddies, Snow Family, Robin Family, Mice, Hedgehog plus there’s a cheery Little Snowman by Kim Sponaugle. I’ve also designed a set of four Seasonal Roundel stamps which can be used either as they are as the main image on a card or as a background to place your character in front of. Running on from the roundels, I felt the frame on it’s own might be pretty handy for card making and scrapbooking and this is available in two sizes, each with a banner greeting and small single rose stamp.

Next up are the new downloadable Christmas Papers. This year I chose to work with holly, poinsettia, ‘starflakes’, trees and stockings plus a candy stripe and tartan for the papers and have put together a Classic and a Frosty set each with twelve papers.

The Spellbinders new dies and impressabilities are now in stock. There’s a smashing assortment of new Christmas, General, Borders and Labels dies plus six new Impressabilities.

Creative Cardmaking Issue 7 has arrived and it’s packed full of nifty ideas for your card making plus sixteen bright and whimsical free papers and two vellums from Kanban.

New in to us but not new to the market are the Letraset ProMarkers. These double ended alcohol markers are a speedy way to add flat colour to your stamped images. The markers are available in handy 5 Packs, a 12 Set and we also have a small selection of the most popular and useful colours as individual pens.

Other items added to the shop recently include small bouquets of silk flowers, stamens, hat pins, glitter felt, and wired bead posies. We’re expecting further deliveries of new pretties so do please pop back in for a wee peek later to see what’s arriving from Prima and Trimits/Impex.

Card Makers Papers & Gail’s ATC Challenge

Monday, January 12th, 2009

Hi There,

I’ve just finished putting together a little set of Card Makers Papers based on the sketch in Linda’s January Card Challenge layout. They’re handy 127mm x 127mm (5″ x 5″) layered effect papers with a central panel to insert a clipart or stamped image for people in need of some mojo, up against the clock or requiring a helping hand to get started on their cards. I hope you like them too.

While we’re mentioning challenges, I’m delighted to let you know and invite you to come and join in with Gail’s ATC Challenge. This month’s theme is Spring. We’ve got a little prize up for grabs too. For more details on Gail’s ATC Challenge or Linda’s Card Challenge please pop in to our friendly forum.

Monday, September 8th, 2008

We are blessed here at Cuddly Buddly Crafts to have the most Fabulously Crafty Friends and this morning as I opened my email I was in for such a visual treat that I felt we should shine the Spotlight On Gail and share with you all the exquisite concertina Christmas Card that she created for her Grandson. Gail has used a selection of our rubber stamps and a paper from our ‘Let it Snow Papers’ downloads to produce this frosty winter scene.

New Christmas Downloads Added to the Shop

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Oh yay – it’s digi time! Susi and I are delighted to let you know that we’ve been working on 3D Decoupage, Printables and Papers collections for you and have now added nine new downloadable products to the shop.

Make a start on your Christmas cards, gift bags, boxes and envelopes with our new 3D Decoupage and companion Printable collections. We’ve got two fun themes for you to choose between – Penguin Playtime with two little penguins sledding down a snowy hillside, one taking to a sledge and the other to his tummy, and Christmas Nativity with the little Giggles Gang Kids proudly posed around baby Jesus in the manger.

For stocking fillers and little thank you gifts, Susi’s been busy and has put together two more of her highly popular CD Calendar projects – Girl Power and Fur Babies.

To compliment our ‘frame and greetings’ rubber stamps which we released a few weeks ago Kim has created three new bumper Paper Collections – Immanuel with stars, Let it Snow with snowflakes and Merry Christmas with holly. Each collection contains an assortment of sixteen 8×8 papers in two gentle mid tone colour palettes with text, stripes and geometric type designs. Add drama to the papers by toning them with darker shades of card, ribbons and brads or go for a whispy look by teaming them up with pastel accessories. Maybe add a touch of sparkle to some of the striped papers too – apply double sided tape along selected lines and sprinkle with glitter or Glamour Dust … just give your inks time to thoroughly dry after coming out of the printer!
