New Picture Perfect Digi Papers – Christmas Boxes & Alphabooks Printables

Monday, November 9th, 2009

New from Cuddly Buddly Crafts are these charming and magical Picture Perfect watercolour painted 6″ x 6″ digi background papers. Kim Sponaugle’s illustrations are so beautifully detailed that these papers can be used to great effect on their own however they have been especially commissioned and created as the perfect background settings for all of the Fairy Fun Family character rubber stamps.

Susi’s been busy too and five new Printables have been added; two Gable Boxes collections and two Alphabooks sets in both the Pretty Frosty and Pretty Classic Christmas Papers designs, and a fun new CD Case Calendar featuring our chubby wee Ellie the elephant which makes a great easy to make gift or stocking filler.

New in from Penny Black are the Slapstick Stamps. These cling mounted rubber (not acrylic) stamps are easy to use, great to store and a fraction of the price of their traditional wooden block mounted stamps.

And, if you’re looking to try out some new craft techniques then maybe the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist Album kits could be a great intro to some serious craft fun! The kits are a great way to get started with Glimmer Mists, and include an Album, stamps or stencils and embellishments. ’Glimmer Misting’ techniques are easy and a great way to customise your own background papers and more.

If you have already entered the November ‘Serving Men Competition’ then pop over to our homepage for details and the chance to win a £25 Gift Certificate to spend with us. Good Luck!

Keep well and Keep Creating!

Hugs n Smiles, Kim

New Stamps, New Printables, New Prima Flowers

Monday, September 21st, 2009

Hi There!

We’ve been adding lots of new goodies to the shop recently here at Cuddly Buddly Crafts, to help you keep up to date here’s a listing of the latest goodies to go on the shelves.

Kim Sponaugle’s Fairy Fun Family Rubber Stamps – Two delightful Christmas Fairies, a boy and a girl, and four new seasonal boy fairies, Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. To compliment the Seasonal Fairies stamps we’ve also added a value for money downloadable collection of Fairy Fun Seasonal Papers.

Then there’s some new stamp designs from me too in the Cuddly Kids 3D line. I’ve added an Angel, a Snowman and a jolly Santa. Each of these versatile stamp sets is available in two sizes.

Susi’s created two great value Cuddly Buddly® Christmas Pinchtop Bag Printables. Each Collection has one basic template available in all twelve designs of the new Pretty Frosty or Classic Christmas Papers. Just print, cut, fold and assemble – then add your own special touches … and contents.

Four new Erica Pels Clear Acrylic Stamp Sets from Ollyfant Stamps are new in too – Beach, Princess, Birthday Party and Christmas Eve. Unfortunately the price of these stamp sets has gone up but even at £7.99 I think they’re still great value.

The first delivery of the luxurious and classy new flowers, vines, leaves and other pretties from Prima Flowers has arrived. For those of our customers who enjoy creating wooden altered arts projects we’ve added two name plate bases and a fun three piece nesting Christmas Tree containing a santa and snowman.

New to us but not new to the market – We’re now stocking the Crop-A-Dile and all of it’s fun and funky gromlets. We’ve also added two K & Company Christmas Collections, Swell Noel and Peppermint Twist. This year’s new Christmas design from K & Company is a classic retro collection called ‘Evergreen’ and is expected to be with us around Mid-October.

Have a great week Everyone and Keep Creating!

Hugs n Smiles,
Kim

Would You like to be one of my Fabulously Crafty Friends?

Saturday, September 12th, 2009

Edited Fri 18th Sept. - I am absolutely delighted that I have been able to so quickly find six new Fabulously Crafty Friends and would like to say the biggest Thank You to everyone who has contacted me since Saturday so very kindly offering their time and experience to help me out. I was truly humbled by the response I received and it’s such a shame that I couldn’t find a way to say yes to everyone. I thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart for your willingness to come forward and help.

I’ve very nearly emailed everyone who contacted me but unfortunately one of my emails to a yahoo.co.uk address keeps getting bounced back. If you’ve written to me a couple of times and haven’t heard back – I’m so sorry, I tried twice to get in touch but the gremlins keep jumping in on the action.

Help!!! I’m in dreadful danger of overloading my Fabulously Crafty Friends with so many Cuddly Buddly Rubber Stamps that the poor ladies don’t have time to play with their other crafty bits! So, in order to try and restore a healthy balance to the situation I’m looking for some new friends to help us all out with making up inspirational new papercraft or altered art samples using our new rubber stamp designs.

How it works – From time to time we’ll send you new stamps, downloadable papers plus some bits n bobs (ribbons, card, etc.) for you to create a stunning papercraft or altered art piece to showcase the new stamp. If the extras we send don’t suit the idea you have in mind when you see the stamps then just keep them in your Cuddly Buddly stash box for another day. You then send us a good digi pix of your finished card or item along with a ’materials used’ list which we add to the product web page and to our Galleries to help demonstrate the product better to our much appreciated customers.

We never ask or expect our Fabulously Crafty Friends to do any marketing for us so if you create beautiful works but don’t have a blog, or don’t participate on forums we’d still like very much to hear from you. However, if you enjoy blogging and want to share with your online friends what you’re doing with us, that’s fine and I’m happy to make up a special little button for your blog, if you’d like one.

If you’re interested in being one of my Fabulously Crafty Friends then please email me (look for Fabulously Crafty Friends on the drop down menu on the contact page) and let me know;

  • who you are,
  • a little bit about yourself,
  • how long you’ve been crafting,
  • your favourite crafting techniques,
  • how many projects you think you could comfortably take on per month and …
  • include a link to your blog or online photo album where I can see examples of your gorgeous creations.

Printables Update – After chatting with Susi, our Printables and Cuttables Designer, it appears that Susi would also very much appreciate a Fabulously Crafty Friend to work with her and help make up her Printables Projects too. If you enjoy making up Susi’s versatile and really useful Printable projects and taking them to the next level with the addition of embellishments and graphics then we’d love to hear from you too.

Keep Creating!
