Are CuddlyBuddly's graphic designs in the public domain?
No, all images, including the free images are copyrighted to Kim Elizabeth MacFarlane. The free images are free in as much as they are not paid for but they remain copyright images and under the same Terms of Use as the designs that are purchased. Please do not share any of these graphics but instead direct people back to this site so they may collect or purchase the images and familiarise themselves with the Terms of Use.
What is copyright?
Copyright is a collection of rights that give the artist of an original work the exclusive right to authorise or prohibit the reproduction of their work/s. It is valid for the lifetime of the artist and is inherited by their heirs for seventy years after the death of the artist. Copyright cannot be overridden by a third party, so please, be very wary indeed if you encounter places on the web that ask you to email them if you recognise the artwork so they can give credit to the artist. Had the right been given or licensed in the first place they would know where the images came from! Sadly though it must be pointed out that even if permission is claimed to be granted, it would be considered wise to check back to the original artist site and look for a 'permissions' or 'licensees' page to confirm the authenticity of the statement this way you will know if the artist will receive payment for their work. The Give Credit web site report that 95% of the graphics available on the internet are copyrighted.
Are the ClipArt Collections available on CD?
No, CuddlyBuddly's images and collections are exclusively available as downloadable goods only, from this, the artist's site.
Can I purchase your art and design products from other suppliers?
No, all art images, designs and digital collections are exclusively available from Cuddly Buddly® and are not sold in part or full through shops, clubs or any third party. ALL copyrights and distribution rights remain the property of the respective artist and designer and have not been licensed, sold or given to a third party. The selling or sharing of these images by any other agent is unauthorized and in breach of UK & international copyright and trademark laws.
Are the images available as rubber stamps?
Yes, some images are available as rubber stamps and are exclusively available from us in the 'Products' section.
Can I use the graphics on items that I sell?
Yes, for full clarification please refer to the Terms of Use.
Can I use the graphics to make sig tags for personal use?
No. However the Free Animations, Personalised SigTags, Avatars and Incredimail Letters have been created especially for digital use and you may use these. See also the Terms of Use.
Can I make 3D decoupage sheets, background papers, derivative works or line art traces from the graphics and sell them or give them away on a website or CD?
No, you are infringing copyright if you do. Please refer to the Terms of Use.
Can I commission you over the internet to design logos and custom images?
Thank You for your interest but Kim prefers to receive commissions on a face to face basis only.
Is my personal information shared or sold to third parties?

Why does it say "approximately" beside the US Dollar and Euro price?
The USD and EUR values you see on CuddlyBuddly are taken from XE.com and will never be more than 24 hours old. However, PayPal does not use exact exchange rates like XE.com so we can never be exactly sure what you will pay before hand. You can however use the Currency Calculator in your PayPal account for current accurate rates. For more information about this please search for "exchange rate" at PayPal's Help section.
Do you give refunds on digital products?

Is there a minimum order amount?

After Purchase
How do I obtain the graphic collections?
Upon payment PayPal will automatically notify the Cuddly Buddly server of your purchase and it will appear under "Downloads" near the top of the page.
How do I open the file I downloaded?
The file you download is a zipped file so you'll need to unzip the file and extract the contents to your chosen folder or maybe add a new folder called "CuddlyBuddly Images". Below are some recommended zip programs.
- PC: 7-Zip, WinRAR Trial
- Mac: StuffIt Trial
How do I open the cuttable files?
The cuttables are distributed in .7z files which require an extractor with .7z support. 7-Zip and WinRAR, linked in the above question, both support this.
I have downloaded my files but when I open them they are "empty" or "corrupt".
First delete the corrupted files you've already downloaded.
Then for Internet Explorer 6: Go to Tools > Internet Options. Then click on Delete Files, select "Delete all offline content" and then click OK.
Or for Internet Explorer 7: Go to Tools > Internet Options. Then click on "Delete" under "Browsing history", click "Delete files" under "Temporary Internet Files" and agree to the popup.
Now select a file to download. When you get the popup box click save and choose somewhere to save the file to. After this is complete you can then try and open the file from your computer. Any good extractor such as WinZip, WinRAR or 7zip should be able to do it.
