Poems and Rhymes
Twins!
Ten little fingers, ten little toes,
Two chubby cheeks and a cute button nose.
Put these all together and multiply by two -
What a lot of blessings
Have been sent to you! The moon's up in the dark night sky,
And the stars are twinkling bright,
So close your eyes, my little one,
It's time to say goodnight.
May angels guard you while you sleep,
May the Lord watch over you.
May your dreams be full of love and joy
And may they all come true. Little One
Do you think?
Can you hear me?
Do you feel safe in there?
Can you feel when I touch you
to show that I care?

Will you grow to like music and wide open plains?
Will you cry at the movies
and sing in the rain?

Will you run on the beach with your shoes in your hand
Will you dream about living
In a strange foreign land?

Will you discover the wealth of a friend in your life
Will you find a true love
And make her your wife?

I know you are struggling to come through the night
in your transparent cot with the pale blue light.
But Mummy is here though and daddy is too
And we've prayed for an Angel
to watch over you. A little Miracle
Your tiny hand wrapped safe in mine,
Your smiling little face,
Your pouting lips when you're asleep,
Your cheeks when you're awake.
You are my precious miracle
And this I think you know
You're my little Sugar Fairy
And your Granny
loves
you
so. New born Valentine
I feel the flutter of your heart
And your tiny hand on mine,
As you lie cradled in my arms,
My new born Valentine. Today
is so special

You're finally here,
Asleep in my arms,
No more worry or fear.
My butterfly baby,
My angel of light,
From the moment I saw you
it was love
at first
sight. You were brought upon two angels' wings,
A gift from heaven above.
A tiny treasure
Wrapped in lace
A treasure forged with love.
