Encaustic Art Painting & Craft Iron

The Encaustic Art Iron has been especially created for working with encaustic waxes and is a terrific little iron for all round craft use too. With it's smooth flat base the iron is great for applying T-Shirt transfers, embroidery transfers, batik work and heat sealing and quick drying papercrafting ink techniques. It's easy to wipe clean, lightweight and easy to use and store away. The removable handle serves as a cradle for you to rest the upturned iron on so that it can be used as a hot plate for melting encaustic waxes and, if used with a small heatproof dish or tin can, UTEEs. The hot plate on the iron measures approximately 69mm x 126mm. 240V, 240w ac, manufactured to comply with low voltage safety regulations.
